I have heard preachers use the Parables of the “Treasure hid in the field” and the “Pearl of Great Price” to solicit monies from parishioners, by saying that this is what these parables teach. How sad when the Word of God is used for selfish means. The beauty and harmony is overwhelming when the Truth is fully realized.

Mark D. Tooley, director of the United Methodist committee at the Institute on Religion and Democracy, put his finger on the problem. In an article titled “Christian Zionists: The Real Terrorists,” published in December in FrontPageMagazine.com, he wrote, What actually frustrates the NCC is that pro-Israel sentiment in the U.S.-which includes but is far from restricted to evangelicals-has prevented the U.S. from forcing Israel into surrender and a disastrous settlement. A 2003 Pew poll showed that U.S. white evangelicals favored Israel over the Palestinians by 54 to 6 percent.
Sermon–Frank Shallieu–This sermon discusses Baptism from various aspects. First by looking at the Christian character, then by looking at different examples of baptism given in the Scriptures, beginning with the Flood in Noah’s day. We then see how Jesus expanded the meaning of baptism. It wasn’t only for the remission of sins anymore, which is why Jesus suffered it to be so that he was baptised, since he had nothing to repent of. Consider under the “new and living way” which Jesus opened up, the other significances of baptism. 1) Water, 2) Holy Spirit and 3) Blood.
Sandul is falsely accused of ripping pages from the Quran. On Oct. 9 a large crowd of Muslims attacked Christian families at a church, throwing stones and firing guns. They were shouting, ‘Kill Gulsher and his daughter Sandul.’ Loudspeakers from different mosques broadcast accusations that Christians had disgraced the Quran, calling Muslims to attack and burn their homes. The angry crowd threw stones and set fire to Sandul’s home. Christians believe Sandul and her father were targeted and arrested because they were aggressively winning villagers to Christ.

Frank Shallieu–This Sermon looks at “Jacob’s Trouble” (Armageddon, invasion by Gog of Magog) from the eyes of the Holy Remnant, the natural Holy Jew who will live through this final stage of the Great Time of Trouble before God intervenes with supernatural forces and inaugurates His Kingdom.

Bible Study-Br. Frank Shallieu-Deuteronomy Chapter 23 starts off with a list of criteria for acceptance into the congregation of the Lord, or should I say a list of unacceptableness before the LORD. Since we as Christians are of the Congregation of the LORD, there is a spiritual significance to each one of us. This study goes in detail on what these flaws or violations mean to the Christian and how they show character defects that God is not pleased with. November 13, 1983.
Sermon-Br. Frank Shallieu-This sermon is called “General Admonitions,” and it covers the topics that have caused him some concern such as: Judgment and Moral Decline in the church, Jothams Parable, Prayer (Public/Private), Testimonies Meetings and the testimonies themselves (how meetings are conducted/misconducted), Children sometimes not taught proper respect for their elders, How we treat fellow Christians who have a different understanding on different prophetic matters or otherwise, do we question their motives, saying they are trying to look important or they do not have the same respect for His Word that I do and so forth. How should we treat and respect one another. He further goes on to Generosity toward God and His work and people and Forgiveness of one another.
Sermon–Br. Frank Shallieu-The Scriptures by way of the Apostles just give the cold hard facts of the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior, because it is important to establish the fact of the event of paying the Ransom for Adam and securing Atonement. At the time of the Memorial (Passover), Jesus says “Do this in memory of Me” This sermon goes beyond the cold facts and enters into Jesus’ sufferings and anguish at his last moments. “He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand. And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar. … And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me. “(Eze 9:1-11)
