Golden Incense Altar

This Bible study on the Golden Prayer and Incense altar goes into great detail on its construction and purpose. The more we understand the literal details the more we are able to understand and see the spiritual significance. The Altar was situated right before the 2nd veil, the spiritual reason for that is to show the importance to prayer. God’s presence is in the Most Holy and the smoke from the incense would go over the veil and into the Most Holy, the presence of God Himself. Also brought out in this study is how we as Christians can offer strange incense like Nadab and Abihu. We are told elsewhere that God will not accept our prayers if we have aught with our brother until we first go and rectify things, or if we are living in a sinful way, our prayers can become sin if we are unrepentant and unchanging.
