Is the Christian Obliged to Keep the Law?

To keep the Law or not to keep the Law? That is the question!

Two thousand years ago Judiazing Christians where trying to force the early Gentile converts into the keeping the Law and Christ. So what has changed in two thousand years? Today its Christians telling Christians you need to keep the Law in order to please God.

So how do we answer that? When we say we must keep the law is the the 10 Commandments, the Feasts and holy days, or just the principles. What exactly was nailed to the cross?

Did Christ give his followers higher laws that supersede that of the Old Law Covenant? Can we eat unclean meat like Peter did? Do we have to observe the Sabbath? Do we have to observe the Day of Atonement? Do we have to stone someone who works on the Sabbath, or a reprobate child?

If we say we are to keep the Law, don’t we have to keep it all? Don’t we have to be in bondage to it all and if we fail in any respect we fail in it all? Is our salvation in keeping the Law?
