What destroyed the Temple of Zerubbabel?

Zerubbabel’s Temple and Herod’s Temple of the New Testament are one and the same. Herod merely made some modifications to Zerubbabel’s Temple. This temple was destroyed in AD 69-70 when Titus besieged the city.

See our verse by verse study on Luke 21 describing the destruction, and our verse by verse study on John Chapter 2

Joh 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
