Psalm 83 is a hot topic these days. Seems many Christians are in expectation of this prophecy being fulfilled in the very near future. At a recent convention in Huntsville, AL there was a panel of ministers discussing the very topic. We hope you get a blessing.

The key to understanding who is spoken about in Revelation 13, one must first look to Daniel. This Bible study explores the episode with the Three Hebrews; Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and the image on the plain of Dura. The incredible faith they had in God not to betray Him through fear of death at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar. When once we understand the symbols of Daniel we can then transfer them to the New Testament, namely the book of Revelation which is a book of symbols. Who is the Beast? There are about four different lessons you can extract from this one Parable from the book of Judges (chapter 9). When Jotham, the only surviving legitimate son of Gideon, uttered this parable from Mount Gerizim to the people below who made Abimelech to rule over them, to replace the vacuum that happened when Gideon died. Its possible to deduce by this parable that perhaps some of the sons of Gideon were asked (pictured by the Olive and Fig trees and the vine), but they felt they could best serve their brethren differently according to their talents. Their picking of a despicable overly ambitious person, Abimelech, to take the task was to their ultimate ruin. Jotham pronounces a curse on them as well as Abimelech. So what other lessons can we get from this?

What happened to the early Church after Jesus and the Apostles died? What filled that vacuum and ruled over the Lord’s heritage? Can we fall into the same pitfalls today? Can we elect those to oversee in the office of elder, who are not fit? What will be the outcome?

Psalm 46 discusses the Great Time of Trouble and Jacob’s Trouble. Here we as Christians have the promise that God will help us “right early” in the dawning of our resurrection change. But the Holy Remnant of the Nation of Israel who survive the Gog and Magog invasion, will survive because helped by the Lord God Himself. The glorified Bride of Christ will behold with their eyes the works of God from heaven itself.

In Psalm 81 God reminds Israel of all that He had done for them when He saved them from Egypt. He will pour them out a blessing so big, if only they will accept Him and listen to Him. This promise is still valid for the Jew today.

This discourse was given at a convention and touches on the “Eyes of the Lord.” God knows things about us and our lives and what is going on in the whole world. The scriptures says that His eyes are on the righteous and His ears open to their cry and that they are on those that fear Him and hope in His mercy. God is watching out for us.

The discourse also follows 4 examples in Jesus’ life where he knew those that were coming to him. The Lord revealed to Jesus circumstances of their lives so that when he mentioned it, they knew it was of God. Take for example: Nathaniel, Zacchaeus, Samaritan woman, and Nicodemus. It only took a word, or in Nicodemus’ instance the seeing of Jesus lifted up like the serpent as he predicted to convince them Jesus was the Messiah. We are told in Zechariah about another miraculous conversion of the Nation of Israel after Jacob’s Trouble.

This is a very prophetic discourse pertaining to the very End Times, after the Wise Virgins (Bride) have gone and the door is shut. Br. Frank identifies in scripture the Holy Remnant as well as the Great Company, with such scriptures as Isaiah 4:2, 3 (those that are escaped and written in the book), Daniel 12 (those written in the book of Daniel’s people) and Ezekiel (those who are passed under the rod). He explains a difficult text in Romans 11:26 on “all Israel shall be saved”, and harmonizes that with the saved only being a “remnant”. He then discusses Jeremiah 50 and 51 with the fall of Babylon (literal and especially Mystic or Spiritual). Showing the correlation of those chapters with Lot and the fall of Sodom he identifies the Great Multitude (foolish virgin) class of individuals and then proceeds to show in scripture the message that they must give to Natural Israel at the end of the age. “Come let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God!”

This discourse takes a look at several types given in Scripture that portray the “Final experiences of the Church in Prophecy.” We are told by two or more witnesses is a thing established, and the Word of God gives ample evidence on this topic. Consider: Gideon, Elijah and Elisha, John the Baptist, Michaiah, Daniel, Three Hebrew Children, and the Wise and Foolish Virgins. What do they all have in common? What is the lesson they are teaching? One thing is that they were willing to lay down their lives for what they knew God would have them do. Another was they were ready to do their part, by giving a message (smiting waters, letting light shine, confronting dignitaries), when the LORD God set the scene for them to do so. Are you ready? This Bible study on the 4th Chapter of Ezekiel is significant in that it proves that the period of the Kings (Saul to Zedekiah) is 513 years. This is an important figure in Chronology. Ezekiel is instructed to make special cakes to eat and to lie on his side for 390 days. We are told that the 390 days prefigure 390 years. Which is where we get the usage of a day for a year in prophetic matters. We have the 40 year reign each of Saul, David and Solomon, which gives us 120 years. Then we have 3 years of Rehoboam before the dividing of the land. We are now at 123 years. It is from this point that the 390 years comes into play, terminating in the reign of Zedekiah the last king of Israel. The division of the Kingdom in Rehoboam’s day was 996 BC and 390 years later would bring us to 606 BC the destruction of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar. The prophecy also talks about a 40 year period which corresponds to the 13th year of Josiah King of Judah. What happened at this date? Josiah started his great reformation cleansing out the land of idolatry and held a great Passover. Also this was the year Jeremiah the great prophet started his ministry. At the end of the 40 years the land lay desolate.
